How It Got Started

So you clicked to learn a bit more about me. Wish I knew what you wanted to hear...but I'll give it a whirl! I'm an Indiana girl that has worked as a full-time HR consultant at a large global company for 15 years. I am married to my teenage sweetheart and we have four kids...the four Gs. Grayden, Gibson, Garin, and Gracelyn. Since God graced me with 1 girl out of the bunch I feel it only appropriate to name her Grace! Isn't God amazing?!

I travel a lot for work, which isn't my favorite :) I hate leaving my family despite my awesome village! Each time our family grew, it became harder to juggle my career, my kids, my marriage, and my home life. I lost sight of my passions...God, family, and DIY! I also struggled to find an online place that felt like home. Sooo many bloggers, DIYers, and Instagrammers are stay at home moms...the HARDEST of all J-O-B-S...and I couldn't relate to their day to day. My juggle looked and felt so much different. So what do I do when I can't find a solution...I make one! And so my passion project "Motherhood at Work" was born!
